Get Off Your Robot is a cultural festival focused on music, dance, art, and technology.
Our goal is to encourage and inspire people to get involved in, build, and enjoy new cultural spaces. To this end, we seek to present a festival that brings together different groups of people in new and unique ways — ways that are designed to motivate people to more actively participate in the cultural activities that interest them.
Get Off Your Robot Festival is founded by Mariella Gross and author & publisher Amir Said.
We celebrate and enjoy a broad variety of music, including hip hop, funk, soul, jazz, Afrobeat, and various forms of electronic music.
Get Off Your Robot offers dance workshops, performances and dance contests. The thing we enjoy most is dancing with each other. Therefore, our main goal is to promote a social dance culture, in which people feel free to communicate with each other on the dance floor.
Whether street art or photography, painting or design - we welcome various forms of visual arts and self expression. We seek to showcase creators from all genres eager to present their work and ideas.
We want to know how Technology influences all participants' creation of art.
